Javer stock: Vinte leans on housing unit after acquisition

Grupo Vinte's recent acquisition of Javer has positioned the Mexican homebuilder as a significant source of revenue for the company, as noted in a report by Expansion Obras. The report, released on October 21, 2026, revealed that Javer contributed MXN 8,354.6 million in sales during the first three quarters of 2026, accounting for 70% of Vinte's total consolidated revenue.

The acquisition has transformed Vinte's revenue structure. Vinte finalized the purchase of Javer in late 2024, and in 2025, it also integrated Derex into its operations. Collectively, these two acquisitions generated MXN 8,983 million, representing 75.3% of Vinte's consolidated revenue from January to September 2026.

The newly combined platform operates in 12 states across Mexico, managing approximately 54 active real estate projects annually. Key markets for the company include the State of Mexico, Queretaro, Hidalgo, Quintana Roo, Puebla, and Nuevo Leon.

Despite the revenue growth, Vinte faced challenges with profitability. In the third quarter, the company's revenue increased by 5.9% year-over-year, reaching MXN 4,361.1 million, while net income experienced a slight decline of 0.6%, totaling MXN 377.3 million. Over the first nine months of the year, Vinte reported a revenue increase of 7.9%, amounting to MXN 11,928.2 million. Additionally, EBITDA grew by 12.3% to MXN 2,182.8 million, and net income rose by 3.8% to MXN 1,011.4 million.

However, rising taxes and selling expenses had a negative impact on the quarterly results. Vinte also recorded a decrease in home sales, having delivered 3,565 homes in the third quarter, which is a 10% drop compared to the same period last year. Conversely, the average price of homes increased significantly, rising by 17.5% to reach MXN 1.2 million.

Javer operates as Servicios Corporativos Javer, focusing on the development of affordable entry-level, middle-income, and residential housing. The company commenced its operations in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, in 1973 and currently operates in seven states across Mexico, as stated on its investor relations website. Within the residential construction sector in Mexico, Javer is recognized as a specialized housing developer, while Vinte and CADU are considered broader peers in the listed sector, with both companies engaging in residential and affordable housing projects.

The residential construction market in Mexico continues to serve as the backdrop for Javer and its parent company, Vinte. Recent market reports provide valuable insights into the current regional dynamics affecting the sector.
